Profile

John Pfeiffer is a self-taught Designer. He started as an apprentice at Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture in Spring Green, Wisconsin and Scottsdale, Arizona. While there, he helped with construction of the Taliesin Visitor Center and Married Student Housing Apartments. In the studio, he worked under Architect William Wesley Peters and specification writer Kenneth Lockhart.

From there, he has trained in the studios of William P. Bruder Architect, Ltd in New River, Arizona; Kenneth H. Smith and David Hauter of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; and Finholm Architects in Aspen, Colorado.

Created in 2006 and based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Pfeiffer Studio is committed to providing unique design solutions in response to the specifics of site and the needs of the clients. Regardless of building type, honesty of materials, solar orientation, light, shadow and scale are all essential elements to our design process. With each project, Pfeiffer Studio strives to go beyond our clients expectations.
